Rescue 21 – High Angle Rescue in Service

Members have put in hundreds of hours of work on our rope rescue truck. This replaces a number of trailers and trucks while providing us with all terrain access. ¬†This unit will be our first self contained all conditions high angle rescue truck and is equipped with both our UTV’s, rope rescue equipment, lighting, service tools for the UTVs, and fuel.

AT 145 PM EDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED STRONG TO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE TENNESSEE VALLEY. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN AS THEY APPROACH THE
FAR WESTERN MOUNTAINS AFTER 2 PM. THE THREAT FOR DAMAGING STRAIGHT
LINE WINDS WILL INCREASE…WHILE ISOLATED LARGE HAIL CAN ALSO BE
EXPECTED. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM.

WARNINGS WILL LIKELY BE ISSUED FOR PORTIONS OF THE AREA BY 230 PM.
